We are pleased to announce the launch of the new website for Islington Safeguarding Adults Board.

The new site will be a great resource of information, help & support. The site also has a members area to store information and resources for our stategic partners so we are all better equipped to help stop adult abuse.

The website was built by and and is supported by Machew LLP.

How can you get involved?

• Host awareness-raising activities on prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers
• Organise local events to share information about pressure ulcers
• Reach out to your local community to inform them about pressure ulcers
•  Join STOP Pressure Ulcers community on social media

Islington Safeguarding Adults Board is supporting the 2022 National Safeguarding Adults Awareness Week, hosted by the Ann Craft Trust. Safeguarding Adults Week is a time for organisations to come together to raise awareness of important safeguarding issues.

We've published a list of National Safeguarding Adults Awareness Week events and training taking place.  Take a look at our Training page in the Practitioners section.

The Islington Safeguarding Adults Board wants to hear from you.

What should the Board be focusing on over the next three years? What work needs to be done to protect and prevent adults with care and support needs from abuse and neglect?

Tell the Board what you think needs to be improved to keep adults in Islington safer. The consultation ends on 28 February 2022. Your views really do matter to the Board.
