Overview of SAR's
One of the functions of Safeguarding Adult Boards under the Care Act 2024 is to commission a Safeguarding Adults Review (SAR) into the death of an adult with care and support needs in certain circumstances. The aim of carrying out a SAR or multi-agency learning review is so lessons can be learnt and applied to future cases and prevent similar harm reoccuring.
The National SAR library contains reviews published across the country since 1st April 2019.
